I was very pleased to hear from Karen Hollett, author of "Hooray for Aiden" (who has a discussion elsewhere in this online ISAD conference), that one (possibly two) members of the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) Legislative Assembly will speak in the Assembly on Oct 22 about stuttering and International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD)http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/cahn_mnsu_edu/14announcements/_disc14/0000000c.htm Arranging for such statements from different levels of government is a great way to publicize ISAD and the efforts of non-profit associations such as CSA to increase public awareness of stuttering.
