Hi Stacey, I really enjoyed the podcast. It was great to hear about how you have come to have such a realistic and positive outlook about your stuttering and life in general. I thought it was interesting that both you and Pam made career decisions earlier in your lives based on fears about your abilities as communicators; Pam made the decision consciously and you said that you understood your decision-making process only in retrospect. I wonder, now that you have that insight into your earlier decision-making process, are you more conscious of how your feelings about stuttering affect the decisions you make now? We learn in our courses (I'm currently in graduate school at Western Carolina University) about how a person's thoughts and feelings about their own communication successes and challenges can affect therapy, but I wonder about real life. And who better to offer insight than you, who are obviously so self-knowledgeable and confident? Thank you for sharing your story, Elizabeth
