I have to say, I am very touched by your response to my talk. I also want you to realized, as a speech pathologist, that grace and humility have been very important to me in my journey, and I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I don't always assume that people who laugh at me or act immaturely are bad people, and I usually tell I stutter (i.e. give them one more chance) before dismissing them. But I appreciate your words of support and I wish you the best of luck helping those who stutter. It is important to not become bitter in dealing with something so difficult, so I urge you to teach clients how to be understanding of reactions they may get because some people simply don't know how to act. We have to teach them sometimes :). Thanks for reading!
