I enjoyed your article. As a first year master student in an SLP program who’s just learning about fluency disorders, it was very straight forward insightful. In your opinion, would you say that the LP is a behavior modification therapy where the stimulus presented is the child’s stutter and the consequence elicited is the parent’s response and we’re trying to change the stuttering behavior? I am also curious what methods are suggested to parents as indirect ways to modify the child’s environment to reduce stuttering?
