I thoroughly enjoyed reading your article, and I learned a lot from it. I am a first year graduate student in Speech Language Pathology. From what I have learned so far, I believe that parental involvement is necessary for the child to recover. I think it would be important for the child to work on his/her fluency outside therapy as well; therefore, the SLP should train the parents when to correct their child. I believe the prognosis would be better for a child if his/her parents were supportive and involved. Again, I think this is a great article.
