My name is Natasha Etienne and I am a graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology program at Southern University in Baton Rouge,LA. This paper was very interesting and provided some great information for helping parents and children who stutter manage the stuttering. It gives information that shows parents how to be patient with their children and use techniques that will help them to reduce or eliminate the stuttering. The Licombe program was very interesting to read about and informs parents of how to respond to their child whether they are fluent or disfluent. This paper is very helpful for families that are dealing with the issue of stuttering and can help them use techniques that will hopefully be beneficial and help to reduce or eliminate stuttering.
