I really enjoyed reading your article! It gave me a different perspective when communicating as well as working with parents, which are an important aspect in the motivation of a child's speech therapy. I wanted to pose a quick question concerning using the wording, "bumpy words". Since we know that children are aware of their stuttering or "speech differences," wouldn't labeling their stuttering as "bumpy words" create an avoidance of accepting that they are a stutter.
