Hi Julie, I’m not sure I understand your question. The LP is a treatment for preschool children and up to about seven years. It works best with these younger children because they are often spending more time talking at home with their parents than older children. Also their stuttering is still relatively simple- in as much as they haven’t developed the psychological aspects of stuttering that we see in older children and adults. Also they are still in the stage of very rapid development where their brains respond very quickly to new learning. I hope this answers your question. Best wishes
