I found this article very interesting, and I enjoyed reading about a process that can help empower parents. I was wondering if the extended family is also involved in the LP. I come from an area where most of a child's interactions are with the parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Is it always just the parents working to keep things basic? Are there other disadvantages to having people besides the parents (ex. siblings) involved? Thank you!
