Ed, there are NO data to suggest that parents' behaviors cause or perpetuate stuttering. Do you base this on anything other than your personal opinions and beliefs? It seems quite tragic to blame parents for something we have no evidence that they do, in general - abusive parents of any sort notwithstanding. This is not a responsible attitude to take and is harmful to the majority of parents I see, who consistently blame themselves for things that there is no evidence they had any influence over. Nan
