Hi Molly, I apologize for my late response but unexpected family events have kept me away from my computer for a few days. I’m afraid I don’t have experience of using the Temple program, am I right in thinking it involves breathing and other exercises? I would not think it helpful with little children. With little children we want treatment to be as simple as possible and to avoid undue focus on breathing or rather aspects of speech production that they are able to do quite normally when not stuttering. It is not usually necessary to hold individual sessions with the parents when doing the LP as we are able to discuss any issues that arise during sessions. Now and again parents may particularly want the opportunity to talk with a therapist and without the child present and that would be fine. With best wishes
