Thank you for the great insight and beneficial information on parents with children who stutter. I am a speech-language pathology graduate student and this is a great resource to use when potentially talking with the parents who has a child that stutters. It will be a great way to educate the parents, while guiding and counseling them along the way. You stated that ‘children know that most people don't stutter and they also know that when they themselves stutter they often feel uncomfortable.’ At what age are children already doing this? I think it is great to educate the parents, especially since they are able to work with the child more frequently and can help them generalize in their different environments. Thank you!
