Thank you so much for addressing this sensative issue. It takes much work on the part of the parents to achieve the very fine balance between offereing parental help without becoming overly involved. However, I do believe that any parent who encourages his/her to believe in his/her self and to set his/her sights high, albeit his/her stutter, will surely be successful in establishing a positive self image for his/her child. Children always look towards their parents' as sources of encouragemnt. Hence, any parent who positively instills in his child to set out to be the best he/she can be will undoubtedly not experience any form of regret or dissappointment on part of the child or parent at any later points in time.
