Hi Lynne, Thanks for your kind words. The reason you haven't joined Toastmasters yet is because I haven't beat on you long enough yet. Ha, ha, ha! It's marvelous organization and LOADS of FUN! I have visited LOTS of graduate SLP classes and it's really a blast. Actually I visited two classes at TCU just today and had more fun than the law allows. Went to lunch with the professor (Dr. Jennifer Watson, do you know her?) and about a dozen students and it was absolutely amazing. What bright kids! I took a girl who is an neurogenic stutterer (TBI) with me and the comparison of her speech and mine was sooooo interesting. The student SLP's jaws were on the ground! If a "recovered" stutterer - one who has enough control to not stutter any more (like Alan Badmington for example) - simply does not have the credibility that we have. It is so extremely important for the students to actually HEAR someone who actually stutters! ..... Hope to see you in Ft. Worth next summer! ... Russ
