Thanks Barbara! I focused on a couple of motivations in the article that were perhaps the main motivations for writing the book....and were sort of logical, so relatively easy to describe in an article. Aside from the logical, I just really felt a compulsion to write the book.......I had a desire to write Aiden's feelings of fear & anxiety about speaking at school......and to write about overcoming that fear. They were of course my feelings.....and putting them in print for publication was somehow therapeutic. I felt that these feelings were something that I knew well, that much of the world didn't understand, and I wanted to help them to understand.... It's hard to put this motivation into words since it's more emotion based than logic based:) K
