Thanks very much, Jaan! I can't take too much credit as it was actually quite easy. Earlier in the week I contacted my current (Wendy Bisaro) and former Member of the Legislative Assembly (David Ramsay) to make them aware of ISAD and the ISAD conference. I asked for their support to help create awareness of ISAD, the conference and stuttering in general and both immediately offered to make a statement in the NWT Legislature on Stuttering & Stuttering Awareness Day(suspect they'll collaborate such that one of the two makes the statement). I'm lucky to have had two very responsive and supportive MLA's over the past 10 years who have always gotten behind any disability related proposals I've put forward. The Minister responsible for PWD up here (the Hon. Sandy Lee) is also a great person who has been very supportive and helpful with regard to promoting "Hooray for Aiden". I'll post a direct link to the MLA statement once it's on-line (late on the 22nd) on the ISAD conference site, my FB page, etc. so people can see what they said. Thanks again, Jaan! Karen
