Thanks very much Alan! Yes, the book project was very satisfying for the reasons you mention. And...I agree...I've only just gotten a better grip on acceptance of me/my stutter (mid 40's), and I look forward to doing many things I wouldn't have done previously. By the way, I checked your bio on the conference site and saw that you were a police officer. (While doing research for my book I'd seen your name crop up multiple times but I didn't know your background until now) One of the heroes in my book, Hooray for Aiden, is a policeman who stutters....had I read your bio before publishing I'd have named him Policeman Alan instead of Policeman Dave:) Take care, Karen
