Alan, The statement: "Each time we avoid something, we strengthen its influence over us.." have really stuck with me. How often I have allowed my avoidance (in any area of my life) hold me back in life. I have tried to encourage myself to do one uncomfortable thing a day and have noticed that I have become passive in this area of my life once again. Thanks for the reminder!
