This article was so interesting! I think that a lot of clients in all areas of speech disorders (stuttering, voice, articulation, etc) have the same type of reactions to their particular disorder. They tend to use avoidance behaviors in particular situations. Do you think that this behavior tends to occur most often in the teenage years and less as they become older adults?
