David, while I do feel that a big piece of covert stuttering is acknowledging it oneself and that others probably know we stutter, it's still about where each individual is at with it. I have never arrived at any destination in a snap, not to mention the confusion I feel when I can be effortlessly fluent without being covert or using tools to the point that some people don't believe I stutter. If stuttering was exactly the same for all of us and never varying and a, b, c, 1, 2, 3, it would be much simplier to cope with. Hannah
