I think this was an inspirational story! As a first year graduate student I have not had the opportunity to work with a PWS. I was wondering if you were (or still are) emotionally and mentally affected by the misconceptions that exist about stuttering? How did your SLP play a role in changing the perspectives of your family and friends? I think your steps of starting small and letting your true self show were admirable. Thank you for sharing your story and your time!
