Thank you for your comments, Kim! I’m glad you found it to be an interesting read. We wanted to provide some examples of how we might utilize the books in a therapy session, but of course there are many ways to structure the interaction. As far as books for younger children, our original article (Logan, Mullins, & Jones, 2008—referenced in the current article) lists several books that may be appropriate for ages 4-8. As I’m thinking back to the reviewing process, these books for younger children seemed to be some of the most difficult to find in the public libraries. However, many of them are easily available at online bookstores.
