Hi Bob...it is exciting to get comments from the actual authors of these books! (You're the second one.) As I said to Ellen-Marie, I really admire folks who can write good fiction -- having tried my hand at it a little, I found that it's much harder than writing a journal article! As several other people have indicated during this discussion, in the movie genre, there is tendency for stuttering to be portrayed either negatively or as a source of amusement. So, in reading these juvenile fiction books, I've found it very reassuring to see the subject of stuttering generally being in such a thoughtful, sensitive manner. We look forward to reading your future work!
