The books that we've listed here would be less appropriate for older teens, and for any client, I'd always consider his or her likes and dislikes before introducing such activities. As I said on other posts in this forum, there are many ways to address issues like "background knowledge on stuttering," "strategies for responding to teasing," "common feelings and emotions" etc..., the book-based activities are just one way to go about it. As I said to the previous person (see the posted response just above this one on the discussion thread)... emotions and attitudes are often a factor at the "carry over" stage of treatment, so that might be a good time to do an activity like the one suggested in the article.
