I enjoyed this look into the psychological contribution to stuttering. I gather from your views that what seems to be initially a mild stutter can quickly propel itself into something more by the onset of awareness and fear towards that behavior. The question I have is whether or not these pws have an innate liklihood to react more negatively towards their fears than other peers would in the same situation? Would non-stuttering peers simply project the fears and anticipation onto a different behavior while the pws directs their reactions toward their stuttering? Thanks, Sara
