I thought this was a great paper and very interesting. As a first year grad student in speech-language pathology, we have been talking about stuttering and how pws react to stuttering. I found it really interesting that you asked the question, "Who attaches meaning to the stutter?" I thought this was an interesting point, and based on this point, I was wondering which you find more important in therapy; spending more time with actual speech therapy or spending more time addressing the emotions and cognitive processes that accompany stuttering? I thoroughly enjoyed reading your paper and the points you made. Thank you!
