Great article and poignant as well Mr. McClure. It is such a shame that stuttering still does seem to be a subject acceptable to make light of/to make fun of (and of course it is not acceptable at all to do this). Have you been able to get in touch with some people who are well known actors who stutter, and perhaps have them give an interview? Or to contact a popular magazine/news show with this information and have an actor who stutters agree to do an interview regarding this? (in order to gain more interest and understanding from people in the public, in this pop culture obsessed era of ours)? Again, great paper and thank you for being there to explain and give voice to the subject of stuttering and PWS.
