Hi Jim, This is thought provoking. I'm a private practice therapist and have specialization certification in fleuncy. I frequently give suggestions to school therapists who request help with children who stutter. I would be interested in doing a story about stuttering and stuttering therapy for the local paper, but I would feel awkward about advertising myself and in someway indicating SLPs without specialization were less qualitifed. I dont know why I'm uncomfortable with this, I just dont want to come off as pushy. Any thoughts on this?
