Hi Lori, I almost wasn't going to post on your paper, but I wanted you to know I definitely read it.You and I have had some great discussions on our different takes on fluency. I read with interest Peter's paper (and your comment) about the fluency challenge and the need to express exactly what we mean when we say fluency. It's got to be tough with teens, because so many get frustrated with the feeling that "someone thinks they need to be fixed." I am glad that you make the point fluency or stuttering is defined uniquely for each person you work with. One thing I love about this conference is that so many different views are presented, and we choose which view makes the most sense for us, or we choose not to choose at all. Thanks for sharing your ideas and insights, and for all you do!
