tks for commenting Julie. I like to play games like uno and have kids purposely stutter on some words and feel the tension. I also videotape (or if you have a mac they love photobooth). We talk about where the tension is and how we can produce the same sound with less struggle. I find the easy onsets on vowels decrease struggle without specifically identifying it.
