I found your paper to be very interesting and helpful in my current academic experience. I am a graduate clinician for a teenage fluency client and one of the goals we are working on is to identify difficult speaking situations. I completely agree with your perspective of group support in therapy and it's benefits; however, I find it difficult to proactively manage these difficult situations through role play when other persons who stutter are not available in our clinic. I would love to be able to work in a group setting, but unfortunately sometimes that is not an option. What would you recommend implementing in my therapy for this client in order to mimic some ideas that play out in group therapy with other persons who stutter? Are there other resources such as outside support groups that I could possibly use in therapy? Thank you.
