Thank you Alan. I found your comments inspiring and intuitive. I so agree that pws often are deficient in many interpersonal and pragmatic skills. I found myself in my early 20's deficient in the art of conversation. I was missing the social graces and formalities essential in this world to communicate effectively. It was heartwarming to read your comments and hope the grad students will realize the devastating effects stuttering can cause. You are correct. It is so much more than fluency. tk you again for sharing.
