It sometimes does work out for another grad clinician to co-treat; however it is always last minute notice and doesn't resonate on the empathetic level I would like it to. This particular client is 90% fluent (according to consecutive data from recent sessions)and he expresses that he has a hard time relating to other pws. He also is a young adult and is seeking therapy on his own without any family involvment. His family believes he does not need any therapy because he is so successful with fluency. I'm very interested in the support groups! I have great faith that there will be something that I can utilize in therapy and with some work, I can find more ways to incorporate others!
