Some people try to disguise and hide their stuttering because they do not want others to view them as “not normal.” They do not want anyone to know that they might speak a little differently than everyone else. Do you think this fear of others’ interpretations along with possible negative connotations could be a contributing factor in why some people might not want to label themselves as disabled? Or is there something else behind it entirely?
