Your article was very interesting. It makes me wonder how many people at the college I am attending are not receiving the services they need because of the connotation attached to the word “disability”. I hope that in the future we can get rid of the stigma associated with this word by changing its meaning or by simply changing the terminology to something that will be more socially accepted. I hope that in the future anyone who needs assistance seeks it and let’s face it we all need assistance at different times throughout our lives. I was wondering what techniques you would suggest in order to encourage a PWS to see disability services in a more positive light so that they would consider receiving services?
