First off, I would like like to say that this article is fantastic. The "D" word has always been very controversial and more than likely will always be to a certain extent. No one wants to "label" themself as disabled because it's already difficult for the person to deal with their own emotions/thoughts about their impairement/disorder. I know that many people think of "disability" as having physical or cognitive deficits but a disability is more than just that. I liked that you include parts of your interviews with people to see if they consider their stuttering a disability or not. However, I concluded for myself that most of people's point of views came from older people. Did you interview children at all? If not, can you tell me why?
