Hello Heidi, Yes the “D” word has been and will be very controversial for years to come. Yes Heidi I would have most likely not had respondents under the age of 18. My study is only focusing on PWS who have engaged with the Australian Higher Education sector and that is why I have not looked at surveying or interviewing children. It would be very interesting to see attitudes about disability across different age barriers and perhaps seeing an evolution of their understanding of the term. Perhaps this is a task for you in the future?
