Thanks Katie! You are right. Sometimes we have trouble being honest and open with people in our own backyard, and hee we were, two woman meeting for the first time, and we wound up having a very meaningful dialogue, that we also wrote about. Incidentally, Christine and I have spoken over skype a few times since that visit. Having conversations about uncomfortable things does indeed build community. ~Pam
