Hi Pam, Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on the sterling work that you perform within the stuttering community. The roles that you now undertake must give you an immense degree of satisfaction, as well as increasing your confidence; widening your self-concept; and confirming that you are capable of achieving things you previously considered lay outside your scope. You are owed a great debt by many. Incidentally, despite the imbalanced ratio of male to female PWS, I have chatted with several hundred in the latter category during the past 10 years. This has occurred at national/international conferences/events; while attending diverse courses/support groups/seminars/workshops on three difference continents; via the Internet; and as a result of my involvement with an international telephone support network. Pam, continue to challenge yourself by treading unfamiliar paths; realise your true potential; and fulfil your dreams. Thomas Edison wrote: "If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves." You are discovering the truth of those sentiments. :-) Kindest regards Alan
