Hi Elizabeth, thank-you for commenting on the article and for your nice words. You are right, most people do not know much about stuttering and therefore do not understand the disorder; we still have a lot of work to do when it comes to raising awareness! Facebook has been extremely helpful for us, people frequently contact us to simply ask questions about stuttering or to view the material posted on the page. Other stuttering associations are also using facebook, which is great because we are able to exchange ideas and to gain insight about what's going on around the world when it comes to stuttering. My best wishes to you in grad school, as I know that it sometimes can be overwhelming!
