Hi Melissa! Thanks for the compliment. It was indeed hard to see my brother's struggle from up close. But it has been a bless being part of that. I wouldn't have understood how difficult is was for him to make these constant efforts, if I wasn't there with him. In that sense it helped me to understand better what he was/ is going through. As you probably know, having a brother with autism means growing up in a family where all the attention goes to one single person. I didn't have a lot of problems with that fact though. But the stammering really did test our patience. I wouldn't want my brother to be any different though, since he is such a unique person. I do wish he will succeed in living a happy live, despite of all his problems.
