Dear Natalie, Jef didn't really have trouble with his social life. He has a charming personality and a lot of people love him just for who his is. The support of the therapist did help him in finding out what to do with his life and achieving this goal. He kept on believing Jef could achieve more and never gave up on him. Technically that's not speech therapy of course, but the therapist's motivation speeches were very important for Jef's improvement.
