Thank you for sharing your story, it was very touching. As a future SLP, I am eager to educate families of those who stutter as well as empower my clients to educate others in hopes that misunderstandings on the causes of stuttering will not occur as frequently. As an individual who stutters as well as an SLP, do you find it easier to empathize with your clients who stutter? Do you find that sharing your experiences with your clients allows for more open and comfortable communication?
