I just want say how inspiring your story is. It is very encouraging to hear about you and your family getting healed after so many years of not even speaking about it. It’s amazing to think that the healing began with the listening ear of an SLP. As a future SLP and as a person in general, this truly inspires me to take the time to ardently listen to those around me. Listening truly is a gift, and you are proof of it.
