This article reminded me a lot of my own mother, who has sacrificed much for my sister and I. She goes out of her way to do what is best for us before she considers what is good for her. You state that you think parents should be counseled on their potential sorrow. My question in response to your topic is:Do you refer parents to another professional or do you encourage parents to be an active participant in treatment sessions and address it there?
