Thank you for sharing this inspiring story! As a graduate student and future clinician, I do not have any experience working with people who stutter. However, it is an area of interest to me and I am wondering if you have any specific advice on how to counsel parents without making them feel like you are getting too involved in their personal lives? Obviously there are a lot of emotions that the family is dealing with and while I definitely think the clinician should play the role of a counselor, I feel like I would be unsure of how to do so without going out of my scope of practice. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated! Jen
