Rachel, HI! Thank you so much for your heartfelt and very kind words, I am truly humbled by your thoughts. You bring up a wonderful point about "emotions" Rachel. Stuttering is a very emotional disorder and those "emotions" come from thoughts. REACTIONS like "sadness, anger, shame, blame, guilt, joy, laughter" are all generated from "thoughts". If we can address those thoughts (what lies beneath the REACTIONS, we can provide clients and parents with options instead of telling them how to think...I could go on and on, however I will not here. I wanted to just thank you very much for being a part of this field and please feel free to ask questions (here) and share your thoughts (sharing is caring!!!).. with compassion and kindness, Scott
