Danielle, Thank you for sharing your experiences from your counseling class and in school. It sounds like the class is a pretty good one and I am glad you are finding that the practice of counseling is a a vital component of this field. To answer your question about a specific approach, Jaime and I are developing a stuttering approach basis in contextual behavioral psychology (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy -ACT) and Eastern Philosophies.
