I'm a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology and have just begun learning about stuttering. Your article gave me some great insight! I have a quick question: What would you say to a parent of a child who stutters, or a fellow SLP, who is reluctant to acknowledge or talk about the stuttering with the child? How would you encourage them to talk about it openly?
