Lynne and Gary, thanks for replying to my post. There are still times where I think that maybe a couple sessions of speech therapy wouldn't be a bad idea. But, then I think, nah, been there done that. I probably would enjoy group therapy rather than individual sessions if I went back. I'm just wondering what the success rate, if you want to call it that, is with seniors when they do have stuttering therapy. Lynn, I like that you suggest that if I returned to speech therapy, I should have specific goals in mind. For me, just having specific goals is a challenge itself. <grin>. But, I'm sure a good SLP could help me to define some goals. And to Gary, that idea of a six pack could work, or not. It would probably just put me to sleep and I wouldn't have to talk at all. :-) I've come a long way with my stuttering and am pretty content for the most part. Maybe one of these days, I might be motivated just to try therapy again.
